Parcells was Ireland's boss...and he is well known for being a guy that demands things his way. Ireland if he wanted to keep his job would have done what Parcells instructed him to do.
I have no doubt that Parcells was calling a great many of the shots.
I'm not so sure Ireland is the one keeping Sparano...I'd bet in light of the media circus earlier in the month it's Ross himself that called that shot.
based on those stats id call it a succesful trade, but didnt camarillo also play in returns? what did those stats look like?
"It's been fun to get the reaction of visiting coaches to the color of their locker room. Most don't notice it, but those that do are in trouble. . . . When I talk to an opposing coach before a game and he mentions the pink walls, I know I've got him. I can't recall a coach who has stirred up a fuss about the color and then beat us.” Hayden Fry
As long as he addresses the QB AGGRESSIVELY and with multiple options (picks) I'll be OK with:
Project BIG and FAST and...NOW WE HAVE A FREAKING QB!
Other than that Jeffy, I recommend you stay away from BIG DUDES with a history of major surgery in college. You can take that risk in R3 or later but NO MORE R1 with surgery histories.
I got it! All our players need to be Big and Fast!! So, every position, except kicker, must be no less than 6'5", 250 lbs, and run sub 4-4 40...or something like that. THAT's the team we need. Now...to find those players.
