Something you thought you knew. This is the first time the organization actually came out and said that the offense wasn't designed around Henne's skill set.

At worst, this confirms your SPECULATION.

Mia - you nailed it. The only point in Ireland saying this is to telegraph their intention to keep Henne for next season. I doubt we will be seeing a high pick going toward QB in the draft.

Blah blah.

Anyone who really believes Henne is an NFL QB is on way too many psychedelics.

Besides a game plan of just handing off there is NO way to devise a game plan that showcases Henne's "talents."

He doesn't have ANY.

My god, let go of the bone. It's like overrun with maggots.

i agree with phinsfan2 that he is probably either pimping henne for a trade or for some reason trying to make people think we wont take a QB.

"It's been fun to get the reaction of visiting coaches to the color of their locker room. Most don't notice it, but those that do are in trouble. . . . When I talk to an opposing coach before a game and he mentions the pink walls, I know I've got him. I can't recall a coach who has stirred up a fuss about the color and then beat us.” Hayden Fry

Don't forget the Daboll news conference. More particularly, Dee-ball's lack of support for Henne when he literally did back flips for everyone else the media asked about. Henne's days in a Phins uni are numbered in my opinion.

He *literally* did back flips? I'd like to see that.

CORRECTION: Have lent all your money to a Nigerian Prince and are waiting for him to send you back 100 times that amount now that he has made it back home with your financial help.

Henne should have a place on the team next season. That said however, he should not be given the starters job. He should have to earn it...We need to draft another QB as competition for him and Thigpen.

I don't care if we take a guy in the first round or if we get one like Stanzi or Kappernick in the third...we just need to draft one.
