Andrew Luck, come on down! you are the next contestant on "TURN THIS FRANCHISE AROUND". Your coaches include.....ummm...nevermind, they all got fired because they were the 33 ranked offense in the league, and there is only 32 teams.

You bet. From rags to riches. The poor dude will probably be overwhelmed with our stable of QB stallions.
He was the QB coach for the Jets in '07 and '08. Let's see, in '07 he coached Pennington. Not that Pennington really needs a QB coach. He could be a QB coach himself. He just needs a new shoulder. In '08 he "coached" Brett Favre. Has Favre even listened to a thing his QB coach has said in the last 10 years?!!
Just kill the franchise now and put it out of its misery. This is an impending disaster.
Oh, and as for the Pats, he was a defensive assistant for one year (defense? Isn't he an Offensive Coordinator now???) and a WR coach (you know...Randy Moss, Wes Welker, ..., what does the WR coach do exactly?).

Chad P should have been made OC, maybe. Maybe not.
But YES YES YES 100% he needs to be on the staff and QB Coach
I am going to be cautiously optimistice about this hiring. I like the fact that he is a young up and comer. Lets see what the guy's got before we destroy him
And yes, BNF, lets sign up Chad P... I am positive Sparano is trying to hire him, The only thing I am not sure about is if Pennington wants to give up the dream of ever playing again.. Not so easy.....
I'm on board with the Colonel.
I doubt Mike Martz could have done as much with that Clev offense.
Either Jeff Ireland can sell ice to eskimos, or Ross actually believes Daboll is the man.
I can't wait to hear his press conf.
Willing to give him a chance until he proves unworthy. Don't have much choice anyway.
Do you guys know that Sparano called the plays in Dallas in 2006?
And he was the offensive cordinator at New Haven before becoming HC.
And when he was HC at New Haven in 1997 his team avg 42.8 points a game
So it seems, one Sparano, has not always had a conservative offensive style. two, He was more then just a offensive line coach when hired, he actually called plays in the NFL for Dallas, in the year Romo broke out...
I think you have to give Sparano credit, for hiring a guy that wasnt a Popularity contest but someone he believed to be the best man ofr the job and team...
Guys I can't believe all the negative for someone you don't know. Every coach started somewhere and most failed the first couple of years. This guys been around and has worked with some of the best.
Give him a chance. I'm going to pull for him and reserve judgment till the end of next season.
Face it. Nothing good will happen in Miami until we get the right QB. I don't care what coach we have, Henne is not the answer. So the first order of business is to bring in a QB that can play.
Anyway, yea. I'll give Daboll da ball and sees what he can do. Know what I mean. Personally I'm like already sold on the fist deal and as long as the Monkey is fed I'm like totally chill.
Like I says before. Pat White once threw a football through a window. Granted is was a really big window but positive stuff can and might happen.
I had my "give the guy a chance" speech ready to go when I thought it was gonna be Chud, at least he come's from an offense that was highly rated, and he's helped develop some pretty good TE's (something we could use right about now). But I just cant muster up anything for Daboll, unless Mangina was holding him back, he did less with an O that was probably on par with ours talent wise. I sure hope Sparano knows what he's doing with his future hanging in the balance. Although this one you can probably partly blame Ross, the way he hung Tony out to dry, it was unrealistic to expect a top candidate to come here.
I like leon/denver's approach..but I agree with the most of yas.. To me it seems we are intentionally tanking this upcoming season, just like we did the last 4 games of this season. Hello to rebuilding again.
