I can't imagine the Jets beating the steelers. Sanchez won't have the luxury of all day to throw the ball like he had yesterday. Also don't think they will stop the Steelers running attack as easily.

Yesterday exposed some issues with the Pats for sure. 1.) Inability to run the ball against better defenses. 2.) Impotent pass rush most of the game. 3.) like us, they lack a real speed receiver that can get behind the defense.

The Jets coverage was awesome, I'll give them that (begrudgingly) but again, there was no deep threat shown.

Did it look to anyone else like Welker was running a little scared? That pass he dropped at the goal line looked like he was covering up for a big hit from behind (which never came).

I agree he was waiting for a hit on that play..Looked like it anyways...But i dont think he was
playing scared. IMO it was just good coverage on the jets part.

I didn't see this play, so I'm a bit confused here....how can good coverage cause Welker to drop a pass? Did he drop it or not?

Also was before or after the play where he got the Elvis decal knocked right off his helmet? If after, then he definitely may have heard footsteps.

It was a short pass..........Right at the line to make a td it would had been a td....He jumped a bit...he was facing the qb....with his back toward the crowd...behind the endzone

I dont know if you get what im saying....

The pass was a bit high but catchable...He looked cautious...I believe he felt like he was about to be hit from behind...But he wasn't and he dropped the football.

We all can't stand the JETS obviously. BUT, I have to give them credit. Atleast they backup they're talk, 2 straight AFC championship games and we just hired Brian Daboll LOL I think they have a slight advantage over us right about now.

I can't stand that Fat Ass Ryan, but he's one heck of a coach. I wish we had him. I guarantee you we would be in a much better situation right now. And guess what? He actually interviewed for our HC job but no no no, Cam Cameron was a better option of course. Our front office is junk man, we pass on guys like these but we give Ireland and Sparano contract extensions for making our team worse LOL incredible, really soon you'll hear Henne get an extension also

And if we hired Ryan everyone on here would be bitching to the point of obnoxious. Actually Cam Cameron probably should have gotten another year. He really is a dam good OC and might have gotten better with experience. Kind of like Bellicheat.
Of coarse he would have been thrown under the bus again and again kind of like Daboll without even getting one day to coach.

Rex Ryan does not care about a team who is not in the playoffs. Trust me, he is worried about the Steelers. He could care less about us.

RESPONSE: Let me try my theory. Someone posted that a statistic shows Welker with the most drops in the NFL.

He must do them in meaningless games because for both the Dolphins and the Patriots and in all games I have seen him he has been MONEY, in fact, MONEY IN THE BANK.

I saw that drop. It was amazing.

I attribute it to the fact that Wes is always the emotion of the team and when he got disciplined and sat down, that was the wrong thing for Belicheat to do.

I think it took away from his fire and drive.

Nice move, asshole!
