This was a guy I had in mind early on. As most of you know, I don't do a great deal or research as I'm not the one making the decision and I depend on you guys to fill me in.
I was wondering why no one mentioned him.
Well let's hope Sparano succeeds starting with a new OC.
I thought about Fox also. Class guy and he had a good run in Carolina. Went to a SB. In the end he was done in by not being able to find a QB (sound familiar).
Fox is a defensive minded coach... Credited with the amazing turn around in Carolina in 2 years leading to a SUperbowl appearance, that then quickly fizzled out... He also got to that Superbowl with none other then Dan Henning at the helm of his offense..
Since our biggest problem isnt defense, FOX, didnt make alot of sense to me, since his success was tied to a guy that was being politely asked to leave Miami, it didnt make much sense either..
It makes sense in Denver as they were horrible on defense since Nolan left and Dumervil's injury.. So Denver needed a guy that could quickly restore some defense to mile high, which Fox has the capability of doing..
It is amazing how fast Denvers defense fell without Nolan and of course last years sack leader. It seems sack leaders just follow Nolan around.lol,

Simple. Henning is a system guy, as proven by his unwillingness to change up the gameplan for Thigpen, even though Thiggy is a VERY different kind of QB than Henning. Give Henning the talent that fits his system and he can be successful. We didn't have the right combination of talent to execute Henning's system, but I'm, by no means, giving Henning a pass. With all the coaching changes we've had in recent years, we just can't afford a system guy. Our talent is a hodge-podge. We need someone that can make something out of what we have (like Nolan has done with the defense) rather than worrying about what we DON'T have.

Henning's system was not set up for Chad Henne really either.. It was really designed for a high completion percentage, low mistake QB like Pennington with a dominant offensive line...

Captain obvious lol..... So now that we have a weak O-line, and QB's who can't pass in the pockett on a consistant basis now what?
My solution is make a dominate O=line, and incorprate the WC, so Thigpend can dominate and look like our stud counterpart, in the Dolphins expansion team which is Dallas's Tony Romo!@!

if I am Captain Obvious, you are Sergeant Lost,
I was responding to another comment, Not making an out of the blue statement. He said the sytem wasnt designed for THigpen which is why he wasnt that successful, and I said th same thing applies to Henne.. your other comments about your solution doesnt even merit a reply, I dont care about a plan with THigpen as our planned QB of the future, sorry.

Mia-
I was responding to someone elses comment, you jump in and Call me Captain obvious... Which is insulting... I am not trying to pick a fight with you, you chose to insult me.
And then I tried to be polite to you and tell you sorry, because I dont want to hear about a plan with THigpen as our futue QB. And what do you do, you continue to insult me.
Should I act like you and send these comments to the moderators...
You tell me I am not being a man. I am a know it all. and you get my attitude..
TO be honest I dont care what you do. But if you keep acting the way you are acting, and jumping in and insulting people. Then saying you want to antagonize me...
Dont you realize, when you act like a b*tch, people are going to treat you like one...
I have always done my best to not insult you or treat you that way. But at this point what options are you giving me.. You want to call me out, for what? You want to act like a tough guy? I have more respect around here then you will ever have. DO you think that is a coincidence or luck, No it is because how I treat people and how you treat people. Respect is earned not given. You want everyone to automatically pay you respect, but you have none for others.. You dont deserve to be a member of community that you do nothing but crap on its members and antagonize them.
