I think Childress should be the hire....HANDS DOWN.

I don't know where the obsession for Chilly comes from. Chilly was the OC in the title only. Reid called the plays. That was the issue he experienced in Minny; his inability to call the right plays at the right time. That was the source of tension between he and Favre.

Hmmm you bring up a excellent point. One that I didnt put much thought on....
Chilly made the Vikings an offensive powerhouse. If Farve would have made a few error free throws, we would be talking about Chilly as a Superbowel winning coach.
I have no opinion about this one way or another as I have to admit that I can't speak intelligently about Brad Childress's skills as an offensive coordinator. I just don't know that much about him or what he was really responsible for in the places he's been (ex. if he was really designing and calling the plays in Minnesota) Also, this whole year, their offense took a huge step back in terms of the offense utilizing its weapons appropriately.
My concern is that from what I've read on the internet, we seem to be the laughing stock of the league for considering this move. We're getting raked over the coals for this. Seemingly rational people who made various comments all seemed to have a harsh reaction. Every story I've read about this all over the web (ESPN mostly) fans from all different teams seemed to unanimously think this was a disaster, a pathetic move, that we continue making ourselves into a laughing stock, etc. etc. Anyone have any thoughts about that. It seemed like more than just baseless hating on the Dolphins for no reason.
Dont take this wrong, but I think you are going to spin this every which way to deflect any sort of blame on Henne.
Listen, I like Henne and I really wish he would grow, develop and become the next great Dolphins QB. But the bottom line is, Henne just isnt that type of guy. Never has been. He didnt lead his High School to a state championship, didnt lead his college team to a National Championship, and is proving on the NFL level that he is unable to lead our team to even the playoffs.
Tony has proven to lead to the playoffs, he has done that. Henne is proving the opposite.
