With the game in hand, leading 16-14, 45 seconds left on the clock, WHY DID THE COLTS KICKER NOT kick the ball out of the endzone on the kickoff thus giving Mark Sanchez the ball on the 20 yard line with 45 seconds left to go? The Colts kickoff coverage had been lousy all day.
The run back caused the Colts to lose the game and their season.
I don't think anybody can explain that play at all, pathetic giving that guy a chance to return it not to mention calling a timeout with 29 seconds left, the Jets would have been forced to run up to the line and spike or run a play taking more time off the clock.
A couple bad decisions cost Indy, once again the Jets fluky season continues.
Better yet, the Colts run a pass play on third down when there is over a minute left on the clock and you are already for the most part in field goal range, when the ball falls incomplete the clock stops and you turn the ball over with 52 seconds left vs. 25-30 seconds if you had run the ball on 3rd down. Caldwell is no Dungy!!
