Bears scouting report of Mia1's future starting QB:
(At 6 feet 1, 224 pounds, Thigpen is known for his athleticism. He can run and is effective in the Wildcat offense. He also has a strong arm, but is not very accurate deep.
The Dolphins are likely to run a lot of bootlegs, play action and screens with him. Thigpen can hurt a defense by dinking and dunking if he plays within the scheme. He sometimes tries to do too much and free-lances, causing negative plays.
The best way to defend him is to keep him in the pocket and make him beat you with his arm)-Chicago Tribune Nov.17th
HMMMMM.....let's see...effective in our ineffective Henning created wildcat offence. Strong but inaccurate passer to go along with freelancing creating many negative plays.
I'd say, with him we'd definitely have the number 1 rated Offence next season.
All I want is to put this Thigpen crap to rest. The Bears scouted him correctly and know like most of us, this is not NFL starting QB material..maybe CFL, but definitely not NFL.
If we expect to have any success with QB's having statistics like this, then we all must be crazy. Going forward, it's obvious we need a major uprgrade, but still feel Henne's accuracy and arm strength are that much more promising than what Thigpen brings to the table.
Sure I reckon, he isnt the hunchback of Notre Dame, but since the appearance of men, neither excite's me, or turns me on, I couldnt tell you if women, or gay men find him attractive.
With that said, he started 15 game's and put up henne like number's but with alot less INT's, and ALOT MORE RUSHING YARDS, AND RUSHING TD'S!!!
With half the time.

I don't know Marsupial's are pretty physically gifted, I mean lets take the Kangaroo for example? Tasmanian devil!!!
Tyler is my currant QB of preferance for our team if that is what you are seeking as a answer from me.
He has started 12 NFL games, and his teams are 1-11 in those games. And he has completed just 54.2% of his passes. That is really the key number here. In today's NFL, with the rules favoring the passing game, and with the abundance of short passing, that completion percentage will not cut it. To put that in perspective, only Jimmy Clausen and Derek Anderson completed passes at a worse rate than that this year. Also, at 6'1, he's not likely to ever be a pocket passer. He's never been one, and at that height, it is difficult to see from an NFL pocket.

And Brees is clearly a special case. His height was the main reason that he was a second round pick. NFL people just don't believe in QB's under 6'2, and 6'2 is a bare minimum.
THANK YOU HE PLAYED BETTER THAN A HENNE THIS YEAR!!! ON A MUCH WORST KC TEAM!!! That is my point. Hell the limited time he played on our team he out played Henne.
And that KC team had the 4th best rushing attack in the NFL, averaging 4.8 yards per carry. And Dwayne Bowe had 86 catches for over 1000 yards, so he was more than a developing WR. And Tony Gonzalez had 96 catches for over 1000 yards, with 10 TD, so he wasn't too tired of playing in KC. It was a bad KC team, but that wasn't the fault of a lack of weapons on offense.
