I havent seen his name mentioned at all for a veteran qb to lead us, and before you guys scream at me, just give it a brief thought. He really is not as bad as his stats say, kind of not a good fit when he was drafted it was the wrong team for him, protection and scheme wise, his name would be Matt Leinart..... any thoughts?

He has been a huge bust. Reminds me of Cade McNown

Ummm, no on Leinart...and I really liked him coming out of college. I actually condoned the Phins drafting him here on this board.

Henne is better than Leinhart....and that is saying something right there.

Look, unless we get Luck, there is no chance we succeed next year, face the god damn facts we will be a 6-10 team at best. It's just easier to know this upfront that way we are no so disappointed. I have been disappointed for 26 years what the hell is another few years going to matter.

How about we let Thigpen, and Brandstater duke it out in the offseason, and training camp then start that starter.

Trade down in the draft, shore up our 0-line, and finish getting a couple fast WR's, and RB's.

Sign De'Angeleo Williams, and Vincent Jackson. Shore up our O-line, Get a MLB too in the draft, hell if we traded down then we can use our second, or third on a MLB to replace Chowder lol... Maybe we can trade Chowder for like a 4th round, or POSSIBLE 3rd round??? Prob not.

Your right for some reason I don't have it on right now. I thought I did, but when I came on today I noticed it wasnt, and well I was in a good mood today, but sure here back to ignore.

Now as for Leinart Id be up for bringing him in for competition purposes. He was not traded due to talent issues he was traded because of his work ethic and party lifestyle. This guy was pretty talented coming out of college prob the best of the 4 USC QB's (Palmer, Cassel, Leinart, Sanchez) He got bored and frustrated playing behind a classy vet and felt he deserved his chance but was passed up for Derek Anderson. In the few games where he started he did not do a half bad job and I think he could prob beat out our 2 QB if his maturity level has increased.
