Date: January 04, 2011 05:30PM todd mcshay has mallet as the 31st best player on his board. he had claussen about there too, when everyone else had him going in the top 15. so let's hold off on trading multiple 1st rounders for this guy just yet. everytime one of these players plays a bowl game (luck, gabbert, now mallet) everyone soils themselves bc we are so desperate fro a QB around here.....fact is not every one is worth trading the farm for, let's see how it shakes out first Re: Mallett on TV right now!

Date: January 04, 2011 05:37PM The really serious evaluations are yet to be done. But Mallett has the LOOK of a big time NFL QB IMO.
His "game" looks to be more suited to the NFL, that's not the case with many college QB's. He's still making some plays under serious pressure and his WR's seem to be lubed up with canola oil on their hands. I'm betting this kids LIGHTS IT UP at the combine. Re: Mallett on TV right now!
