What King was suggesting was that if negotiations drag into July or August, and they reach a deal, and agree to start the season 3-4 weeks after the CBA, it leaves no time for guys to learn their new systems, let alone get their families moved and settled in. In that scenario, they players could agree that everyone has to return to their most recent team for 1 year.
