Probably like this:

1. Luck
2. Gabbert
3. Mallett
3A. Newton

I have Newton and Mallett even. I am just not sure which one I think is better.

That is the thing for me when it comes to Cam Newton...

You may get Steve Young or you may get Vince Young (even though he is a WAY better passer than Vince).

He has a boom or bust risk....that is just my opinion.

The great thing about all 4 guys, is that they are all great leaders. They all have fire....something Henne does not have.

Henne is a nice guy, but he does not get in anybody's face. He does not have that spark to light a guy up.

All 4 of these guys do. Now, whether they all 4 pan out...that is another subject, seeing as I have no clue.

But atleast they have *intangibles*.

I love intangibles!

We haven’t had those in a long, long time!

Yeah, I think Luck and Gabbert will be the next generation of Brady and Manning.

Luck reminds me of Troy Aikman
Mallett and Gabbard remind me of Flacco
Newton has a bit of Steve McNair and Steve young qualities. tremendous skill set that needs a bit of polish. gabbard , newton and Mallet may be better served to sit a yr behind henne and take over in 2012.

I dont think Gabbert looks like Flacco at all.

Gabbert is waaaay more mobile than Flacco.

Flacco is more mobile than you are giving him credit for and that's not the genesis of my evaluation. they have similar mannerism IMHO in the way they play the game,

I don't think Gabbert gets past #5. Lots of buzz about him now, he's one of those late risers that come out of nowhere to be a top pick, like Alex Smith (ugh I hope for his sake he doesn't turn out like that).

This will probably push somelike like Newton and Mallet down the board, but frankly I think Gabbert looks like a safer pick and better NFL player than those guys

Well Aqua, you and I have been semi for Henne as the team, OC and HC, have hand cuffs on him. However, after the season and seeing that he has not improved IMO we really do need a change NOW.

I'm not for weakening our team to a point that it will take 2 or 3 more years to build.
I have now had the opportunity to watch all these QBs above. Both highlights and some games.
Of the 4 above the only one that I feel can step in next season as starter is Gabbert. To get him, I would be willing to trade up. Maybe at all cost. He really does seem to be the real deal.
How old is he? Will he opt to be drafted?

Unfortunately I don't think it will happen. Now if the others drop to within range then I surely won't complain.
