I keep thinking of how he single-handedly lost the game playing against NE during their undefeated regular season. A time-out call completely destroyed their momentum when they were going to put the nail in the coffin. It was Sparano-esque. No...I don't want Billick.
He did not have a power football scheme in Baltimore. He had a bad offense, and it was mostly his fault for playing mad scientist with bad QBs. Kyle Boller? Come on, dude!

His offense in Minnesota set an NFL record for most points scored in a season. And Nolan coached under him for 4 years. He could be a guy that they could hire, and still keep Nolan.
I want someone not named Henning (and probably not named Lee or Dorrall) to be our OC very soon (read: several weeks ago...perhaps even before the season started), and I want him to make a decision about Henne. I don't know if it's Billick (though I'm not opposed to him at this point), but I'd like an unbiased proven OC opinion on Henne. Frankly, if Billick concluded that he can't work with Henne to be part of an offense that's part of getting us to the promised land, then I'd be inclined to take it at face value.
I don't take anything Henning says at face value because I think he's protecting his legacy.

Yes. I feel better now. This thread blends in more with that post.
