What do you expect from him? Do you really think a guy could go 40 for 40 with 400 yards and 5 touchdowns? I think most of you still would not like him!
What do you want?
The interception returned for a TD today was because the WR fell down. Again what do you expect a guy to do.
Henne should be our QB for years!
Do any of you have anything positive to say, ever?

Ahhh what do you know, a henne supporter in the mids of a poor performance. THis is all I was asking for (do you understand what I am saying now A&O, aka henne does bad become mister no show),
Anyhow, I have to commend you for keeping your stance and not being a fair weather fan. I really liked henne in Michigan and the fact that he is has digressed so far at this stage of his career points to the coaching staff. Even if he is not a top level franchise qb I know that he is much better than he has shown. Unfortunately I think I have seen enough to say with good certainty that he lacks the "it" factor (which is- the ability to get it done in big moments)
The one INT I don't fault Henne for because the receiver fell down. The other I do because it was a poor throw...people can say what they want to about Henne but, he played a good game today, albiet with an error or two.
He is capable, in my mind, of having good games on a regular basis and I believe with a better offense around him and a better system he'll improve and become more consistent from moment to moment and game to game.
I still say keep him and and Thigpen. Then draft some competition...if that competition plays well enough to earn the starters job for next season, so be it.
Absolutely Berk Henne played a good game today. Even if you and others here don't like it, that fact remains. He did make a couple of mistakes but they don't change that fact.

Look, I am neither blind, nor ignorrant, and I know the truth when I see it...Henne played a good game today.
Once again he did make a couple of mistakes but he played a good game. He managed the game well, he made accurate throws for the most part, he moved the team, and he played within the system.
That's what you want a quarterback to do...yes, I agree that there are areas where he must improve but to lay the blame at Henne's feet every week for this team losing, as some on this forum do, is extremely short sighted.
It's short sighted to want to win these games. It gets us nowhere. Lose now for the future. Pats will easily beat us, so we don't even have to hope, it will just be.

Ken, I don't care what the stats were thru 3 Qs against a bad team. The fact is, when the game is on the line, Henne is 100000% incapable of leading this team down the field to the win. Not only that, he will F up in the most spectactular way possible. He is not a winning NFL QB, definitely not one you can go to, or win in the playoffs with. You're in denial if you can't see that bro!

&&&& Henne at his best is maybe a top 15qb Ken we have to have higher expectations than that. he is by far the worst rated qb in the 4th qtr and it's always someone elses fault. The OC or a tipped ball or the WR fell down. At the end of he day he is ultimately responsible for the results of those throws. ALA the tipped ball that Bess caught for a TD sometimes they bounce your way other times they don't. The guy seems to play well until it's winning time then he shrinks. In crunch time you need your qb to rise to the occassion and too many times he goes the other way. if he stays I will root for him and hope he shows the improvement that you and others believe he is capable of and hope for the best....but at this point I expect a change from the Qb on up the ladder. &&&
henne at his best is not a top 15 QB. He is a choker and a loser and we need to be rid of him. I'd take thigpen over him. At least he keeps his head up and looks down field when pressured, unlike henne who puts his head down and stares at his feet.
The reason they don't throw the deep ball, is because Henne can't. He has the arm, but damn sure doesn't have the accuracy. It showed on the Marshall TD...errr incompletion.
