They just spoke of the inefficiencies of henne and the coaching. You can see a sparkle in Cowher's eye knowing he will be replacing sporano. They are laughing at this team saying that henne just doesn't have it as he should be much farther ahead in his abilities. Bye bye henne. Experiment is over.

Don't be disappointed if Cowher stays with TV. However, party if he does take over the HC job from Sparano. thumbs up

And Coach Chin could bring Dan with him to be the QB coach. Hell, Dan can even come out of retirement & suit up. With the rules in place nowadays, he'd probably have an MVP season. Stadium would be a sellout every game.

Dream on *sigh*

If he does not get the job and we stay with sporano, I won't watch next year, I will boycott them as will my buddies in Florida. If they don't clean house ESP with henne there won't be any fans at the games.

I dont think i want Cowher, he's good and all yeah, but he's a defensive coach, and Defense is kind of our strength, and i dont want cowher to come in and have clashing philosiphies with nolan that will hurt us, if anything i want us to dump henning and sparano bring in a good offensive coach, and let him pick a coordinator of his own.

"It's been fun to get the reaction of visiting coaches to the color of their locker room. Most don't notice it, but those that do are in trouble. . . . When I talk to an opposing coach before a game and he mentions the pink walls, I know I've got him. I can't recall a coach who has stirred up a fuss about the color and then beat us.” Hayden Fry

We really need to be switched out of this division. Afc south as we would have a better shot at the playoffs. Pats are too good of an organization now. They have all the pieces for a ling time to come. No I'm not s pats fan, I'm being realistic guys.

Come on we dont need to switch to a division where the colts are a constant force, the texans "OWN" us, and the titans typically give us a run for our money. I would say the Jags is the only team that we have our way with in the south so I dont see how that move would be easier. we play the pats well every year and tom terrific has his worst days against us, we match up with the jets well and losing the the bill is inexcusable. We have a better chance in the east than the south.

is there anything you won't tie to the pats? let's just fold the team, the pats are too good.

Dolfan1, moving out of the division because a team in it is "too good" is the biggest loser mentality idea that I've seen on this site in many many months. Grow a pair, compete with the best and stop being such a wussy about playing against your beloved Patriots.

If we think the Patsies are too good now...wait till the draft. They are stacked with picks...

1st Round
1st Round (OAK – Richard Seymour)
2nd Round (CAR – 2010 3rd Round)
2nd Round
3rd Round (MIN – Randy Moss)
3rd Round
4th Round (DEN – Laurence Maroney)
5th Round
6th Round (NO – David Thomas)

Exactly. STACKED is an understatement

They will run the table in the afc for awhile.

They are horrible drafters.

Yeah that sucks hard, I could see them trade up to acquire Andrew Luck to be honest. Brady won't get resigned after his contract expires, and they need a new Franchise QB to groom for the next 2 to 4 years.

I wouldnt be surprised if they move up take him, and or maybe Ingram.

When a team has that much picks, they trade up to get what they want, and I can see them getting Luck, they need the next Heir to the throne.

No chance.

They just signed Gaydy to a long term deal.

If anything, they go up and get AJ Green.

They have ZERO at QB depth, Im telling you watch out they might get Luck, no better time to trow away picks when your team is stacked, and you got ALOT of picks to throw at the future.

I would do it if I where them they can afford it.

I am not sold on bringing in Cowher. Defense is not our problem, and if memory serves me...the 2 minute drill and clock management overall was nothing to jump up and down about under his helm. Who handled the draft while he was with Pitt?
Aging coaches, whom already proved themselves by winning the big one, have less drive in my opinion. Another big paycheck flop could be in the making.
Maybe it would be best to just buy Sporano some much needed reading material to brush up on in the off season...

This thread was about Cowher. Miami is not changing divisions most likely never. Even if the league decides on another realign. Also we don't know exactly, if we'll see Football next season. Come April then I'll look what NE and NY will be doing on that weekend. Dan already dismissed a position in the organization some years ago.How about hiring Joe Montana as QB coach. Don't get me wrong here the greatest of admiration, but I feel the 49'er has more insight(i.e. four SB Rings)than our former QB.

smileys with beer
I'd like him as a coach. Just don't see him coming to Miami.
