Pathetic. I was watching the game and my son (25) came over and asked "who the Lions' QB?". I told him he was the "3rd stringer." He was surprised how competent he was and amazed how he rallied his Lions for a win.

Yup, some backups are more capable than Henne.

I have really tried to be objective, and give Henne the benefit of the doubt. However, he is clearly not the answer. He does not learn from his mistakes- he keeps repeating them. He never shows ant emotion- it's just a job to him. Henne needs to go. I think just about anyone would be an improvement at this point...

I turned completely on Henne when, after the Browns game, his comment was that it was "just football, not life or death."

Not to pile on here, but he appears to my eyes to be medicated, welbuitron, xanax, or something similar. Either way, those 4th qtr possessions showed exactly where he is standing. He got away with the touchdown pass to Bess that should have been intercepted. He just needs to go, and probably find something else to do for a living.

I'd be glad to. Look at the tape of his game week 15 vs the Browns, in which he looks like an actual competent NFL QB. He picks apart a defense that stymied Chad Henne the week before.

again i ask, when henne does bad where are all the henne supporters? Funny when he does well all you see is support and when he does bad all you see is the anti henne fans.

let me say that I still believe that henne has all of the physical tools to be a franchise QB. I think the problem is that our staff has not done a good job of grooming him with reads. Look at vick and the eagles, when he goes to the sidelines he is talking with Reed and the OC discussing what he sees and what the defense is doing, where is that on our sideline.
