Hasn't Dan Henning called plays before? How good is that working out
The NFL is starting to become a young coaches league, Pennington is smart and he's been with us 3 seasons now. I trust him more than anybody on the offensive side. I'm sure for a smart guy like him he knows what needs to be fixed.
Is it too soon for him to be an OC? Maybe so, but then again who's to say it would or wouldn't work out. I would love to see Penni running this offense. He's young, has alot of passion for the game and very smart. Those are three pretty good qualities I would like in an OC
He is also closer to reality in todays NFL than some veteran coach that's still living in the 80's or 90's.
