Sparano is a great game manager and tactician, how do you think we won a 10-6 game yesterday, and only had 55 yards of passing. It surely wasnt good looks.
I'll see you on Wednesday? LOL, here comes another loss
WTF man?? This is their job, everybodies job is to work. Evertime I see one of these speeches after they win he ends it with " I'll see you on Wednesday" I don't know what the hell these guys do till Wednesday but they lose the following game.
Damn it, make their asses work!! I would stick Sean Smith infront of the ball machine all day long until his nails fall off.
Henne? I'll make him do everything, I don't care everything.
They treat these guys like little kids, don't they make enough money, didn't they just take them to see the Lombardi Play, what's next a trip to Disney without winning the Super Bowl.
I can just picture Ross giving them a visualization speech riding Pirates of the Caribbean, " This will be us next season boys" visualize the success and it will come.
If Lombardi was their coach we'll see how many plays they'll go see. Pathetic the pampering these millionaire giants get. Pisses me off, go win more than one game in a row why don't we start with that. See you on Wednesday my ass!!
agree with the see you wendsday thing ..how about see you tomorow(ok maybe tomorow afternoon for the defense and the punter)so we can get to work on next weeks gameplan and finish strong..i could see if we were 10-3 throwing them a bone of a day or two off but our boys are going to have plenty of time off in january they dont need it now
You gotta fly home. That likely happened today. That takes out Monday. Tuesday to nurse injuries and bruises. It makes sense in some respects and doesn't in others. Iffy call.
8-6 not 8-7.
Anyway, Broncos new coach said the same thing after a lousy loss to the lousy Cards. I thought they were the only ones.
Back in the day, National Airlines had the charter. The team always came back the same day they played even if a night game. I don't remember two days off ever. They would always talk about being sore Monday morning till they loosened up for the light practice.
They even flew back from LA after they went undefeated.

That's a good point. I do like the way Sparano is going about his job. The head coach needs to be a manager both on the field and elsewhere. He is doing that. He has made some questionable decisions (being nice here) and also some good ones. What I like is that he always has a reason for the decision and explains his thoughts.
I'm all for throwing a team or anybody a bone if they earn it. But what have they done?? Like I said before this is their job, this is what they get paid to do. We've won 1 game at home. They haven't accomplished anything, they're 99% out of the playoff race mainly because of the whole offense, from coach to players all of them coaching and playing like pure garbage. This team would have the worst record in the league right now if it wasn't for Nolans defense, and both our kicker and punter LOL are you serious giving these clowns days off. No wonder they love Sparano so damn much, they get treats for playing like S**T!
Give the defense the whole week off for all I care, they're balling man. But that damn anemic offense you're giving them more time off, are you serious?
I'll make Henne paint the facility maybe that will help his throwing motion. WAX ON WAX OFF BIATCH!!!!
Dan Henning (not his hire) and his head-scratching offense.
Chad Henne, who is really struggling in his 2nd season as a starter.
Brian Hartline: injured reserve.
Brandon Marshall: hurt.
Vernon Carey: injured reserve.
Rest of offensive line: terrible.
A special teams coach who was so bad that he got fired 4 games in.
Sparano has done well with what he has so far. The team plays with heart and I don't see us getting blown out after halftime (the surest sign of bad coaching) aside from that crazy Patriots meltdown.
I have been very critical of Sparano's time management but I think it's obvious he is doing something right during the week to get the team ready to play.
I feel the same way. I would not be upset if they brought in Gruden or Cowher, but I really don't think the team's failings are the fault of Sparano. I do think he is good enough as a HC to take the team all the way.
I like Sparano alot. The guys have rallied around him and bought into his plan.
Considering we have no legit QB, RB, O-line, healthy WR's, a formidable TE, and our defense doesnt make any game changing plays.....
yet, we have a winning record and on top of that we we screwed out of a win by the refs.
I say he has done a great job.
Has he made his mistakes? Yes. Does he make some bone-head decisions? Yes.
But remember, this is only his 3rd year head coaching in the NFL, and again, considering everything I said in the first paragraph, he has done a great job.
The guys believe in him, that is the biggest part of being a head coach. Our players will go to war with Tony. They love him.
I hate to pin all of our problems on one guy but the more I watch the Dolphins the more I think that a good offensive coordinator could turn this exact same roster into a serious contender.
