The coaching staff made a strong point when they decided to bench Henne and start Pennington. At that point, they put all their cards on the table, admitting that Henne is not the guy. But guess what happen, it backfired in their face with the injury, so then they use the media to spin it into "He needed to take learn to have fun again, blah, blah". That was until they played a good defense, then the real Henne showed back up. But regardless, they were ready to throw in the towel on Henne for Penny cause they know the truth. There will be a new QB in Miami next yr.
In my opinion, there needs to be a change with the coaching staff (Offensive Coordinator in particular) more so than anything else. Until then, Henne's true potential will be unknown.
Week in and week out I'm completely amazed at the lack of using a Shotgun formation.
Does anyone think that Brady, Manning, Schaub, or any other QB in this league for that matter can live without it?
Why does this bonehead of an offensive coordinator refuse to see the light? Does he not know that an effective Draw play can be run from it even in a passing situation?
There are times when too much time is wasted from a QB dropping back from under center. Especially from a heavy pass rush or blitz.
The way this offense is being coordinated, prepared, and coached is a display of complete and total incompetence.
