I heard on the radio that the Carolina Panthers are making no secret of pulling a "dolfan1" and tanking the season on purpose in order to get Luck in the draft *and* sign Harbaugh as their coach next year. The jock-sniffing broadcaster said they don't even want Cowher, only Harbaugh.

This is the kind of thing that may sound like a great idea on paper but won't pan out in the real world, IMO

The Panthers wasted three picks on QB last year, including trading away next years 2nd round pick to move up and pick Armanti Edwards.

Talk about a program in disarray...

Sounds like something a pinhead broadcaster in Jacksonville would say. I seriously doubt the Carolina Panthers football team feels that way.
"You Play to win the game!" Does this guy seriously think Herm Edwards meant just sometimes, or just some games?

He sounded like a quintessential pinhead for sure, but I think it was on one of those nationally syndicated game-day shows on sports radio. I heard it while driving around running errands before our game started.
