Pennington!!!!!!!

Some of you say sparano makes dumb mistakes...or mental mistakes and decision come gametime.

Do you think pennington will make a good Head coach?

He is obiously done as a player.

IMO he will at least make a real good offensive coordinator or QBs coach.

definately not ready to be a HC, he's never been a coach before at all. He'd need to start as QB coach and work his way up. As a head coach---no way!!

Agreed. Experience needs to be established. Question is, how many NFL quaterbacks have made good head coaches in this league?

Yes Sammy was a QB but that's even way before my time.

I can't think of any that were good HC.

I like the Idea of Penny becoming a QB coach then working up the OC. Like that idea.

Bart Starr was a head coach but not a good one. I can't even recall hardly any others. more recently Jim Zorn but once again no success. Steve Spurrier only successful as an NCAA coach.

It's peculiar because with the QB as the leader of the offense I'd think more QBs would go on to be successful NFL head coaches.

But I agree Pennington should be QB coach first, then OC...THEN after several years of success he could be considered as a HC. Not yet.

Fire Henning. Promote David Lee to OC. Hire Pennington to replace Lee as QB coach.

DONE!

david lee is pretty much a goner too, if henning goes...I would love to see Pennington in the OC role or QB coach. He wouldn't make a good HC at this time.

The guy's never been a coach before, kind of an absurd suggestion.

But at this point I think I'd still prefer him as an OC to Henning.
