all I can say is, if we trade a high pick for this guy I am done with this team. I've said it before but he's a product of the Phill system and hasn't even shown much anyway, he's played only a few games. This is AJ Feeley all over again. I read some comment on the hearld site that we should trade 2 firsts for him. Argggggg! I wouldn't even give up a 3d--maybe a conditional one that can become a 2d if he makes the pro bowl--that's it.
will we ever learn???

Kolb is light years better than what we have now, and AJ Feely!

Just because they both came from the Eagles doesn't make them the same player. That comparison is a massive reach.
Have you even watched Kolb play?? If it wasn't for the freak show called "Michael Vick", Kolb would be the starter in Philly, and possible Pro Bowl nommonee.
What's wrong with him? Great arm, atheletic, smart, accurate...what??

what games are you watching? I don't even know if Kolb is better than Henne.

Kolb is WAY BETTER than what we have -- but we have garbage at QB.

For a 1st rounder I'd take him but then again I'm no NFL GM -- nor a relative of Henne...

yes, I saw him play when vick got hurt against the redskins and he looked like thigpen against the bears. I've also seen him in other games and I wasn't so blown away. trust me if we trade a 1st or a 2d rounder for him this team will be set back 10 years.

Trade Henne and a third round pick for Kolb, the man can throw, run and is better than Henne.

Kevin Kolb has started 6 NFL games, and played in a few others, and has attempted a total of 283 passes. He has completed 62.2% of them, for 6.8 yards per attempt, with 10 TD and 11 INT. His passer rating is 77.8.

Chad Henne, in 830 attempts, has completed 61.3% of his passes, for 6.7 yards per attempt, with 24 TD and 29 INT. His passer rating is 76.2.

Kevin Kolb is not "light years" better than Henne. And he has certainly not done anything that would merit Pro Bowl consideration.

And here is a question. What supporting cast would you rather have?

Lesean McCoy, over 1300 yards of offense, and 4.9 yards per carry
Desean Jackson
Jeremy Maclin
Jason Avant
Brent Celek

or

Ronnie Brown
Brandon Marshall
Davone Bess
Brian Hartline
Anthony Fasano

I know that I would rather have the first group. That is a ton of team speed, and a lot more explosive weapons to work with.

They also play in the NFC where teams are clearly weaker.

6 Starts and a handfull of fill in for Kolb, versus almost two years of starting three in a system.

LOL.

PASS......if Kolb was worth a first rounder then Vick would be sitting at this point.

No.

Andy Reid is INCREDIBLE when it comes to designing offensive schemes for quarterbacks. We do not have a coaching staff that is capable of getting the same kind of output from any Philly QB like Reid does.

If there's been one thing that people have been agreeing with lately, it's that Henne is the best QB we've had since Marino (with the Pennington argument in there).

That being said, what would you guys do for a coaching staff that knew how to use Henne to his full abilities? I think it's pretty clear that the current staff is clueless, in that respect.

Well I dont see how underthrowing a wide open wr twice in one game, and throwing the ball into tripple coverage, and throwing the ball at a defensive lineman, and on and on is the fault of the coaching staff.

Come on Futt, your better than that.

If Chad Henne was playing for the Eagles and Andy Reid you cannot tell me he would be playing as inconsistently as he has been for us.

He'd be better immediately upon stepping on the field simply due to the fact that the Eagles are a team that's built to pass.

"Armando Salguero wrote that a former Fins QB said that when he watches film on the Dolphins' passing game, he doesn't understand what Dan Henning is trying to accomplish."

I honestly don't think anybody does. Dan Henning is a f-cking idiot. When the phreakin' Carolina Panthers dump his ass, what does that say about him?

KOlb is more or less AJ Feeely...except Feely was better. Henne > Kolb

I'm not high on Kolb. I'd rather see what Tyler Thigpen can do with a reasonably healthy line and a full week to prepare.

I'm done defending Chad "Hey, it's just football, don't get mad at me for being paid millions to throw 30 interceptions" Henne.
