Just throwing this out there for discussion: Jon Gruden

I'm not a big fan of Gruden. He won in TB with the defense that Tony Dungy built. I'd rather coax Dungy out of retirement (I know that won't happen). I'm thinking Gruden ends up in San Fran particularly if the Cowboys keep winning under Garrett.
no I don't want him. He hasn't done anything that merits the hype surrounding him. He won a SB with Dungy's players, then ran that team to the ground. He was never able to bring in a good QB with the bucs and just collected backup types (sound familliar?). plus he'd want full personell control and being in his bros to be coordinators, out of nepotism, not b/c they are any good. in short NO WAY
Im perfectly fine with Tony Sparano and I think he deserves at least another year with a new QB
Henne and Henning are the ones that need to go, along with a couple other roster adjustments. The players in that locker room want to play for Tony and if you dont like Sparanos intensity on the sidelines then you must be a real boring person. Watch his locker room speeches on the Dolphins website. I've never seen this team quit on Sparano. If we get a guy, lets say, Gary Kubiak? at OC I think some big things could be in store for this team
We all know Gruden won with Tony Dungy's players, but the Raiders team that he won agaisnt in that Superbowl... Wasn't that team built by him?
Notable Players that the Raiders had:
Offense:
QB: Rich Gannon
WR: Tim Brown, Jerry Rice, Jerry Porter (avg player that Rich Gannon made look good)
RB: Charlie Garner (another avg player, but did well b/c everyone had to respect Gannon)
TE: Doug Jolley
RT: Lincoln Kennedy
RE: Regan Upshaw
LDT: Sam Adams
LOLB: Bill Romanowski (even though I hated this guy)
MLB: Napoleon Harris
LCB: Charles Woodson
FS: Rod Woodson
So.. yeah, did Jon Gruden put this team together?
