Marino and Cowher on Chad Henne

I found it interesting on the postgame show when Marino and Cowher were talking about Henne they said that he seems to feel "entitled" to be an NFL qb and that he has yet to "earn" anything. That sounds pretty accurate to me.

I hope there is a chance he does come here....and maybe we could have that fire and pride we used to have...I am tired of Sparano clapping when we make a mistake.

I used to live in south Florida. South Florida has become a shit hole. Connecticut is a very classy state, don't know about Boston as the clients I deal with from that area are cheap and a pain in the ass so maybe there is truth in what you say about Boston.

Lol, well look at the housing mess there? Look at your income there? Your monies are derived from tourism supported by us New Englanders. Let's face it, we have the money up here because of the business environment. Florida is a state for entertainment. I never see more homeless sitting and begging than I do when I'm in Florida. Every off ramp someone is begging for food. Pathetic.

I am from up there and get paid from up there, your Tax Money, State pension... Thanks for the Paycheck you give me every Month... The Weather is the Market Down here, why would they not use tourism to support the economy, people think of South Florida as a Vacation Spot, so Either you Northerners are real Dumb or this Place is great. I think its the 2nd one....

If I wanted perfect weather then I will opt for San Diego. Low humidity

If you want perfect weather try Costa Rica. 75 in the day, 65 at night, 75 in the day, 65 at night, year round. Only the amount of rainfall determines what season you are in. The Sunday ticket costs 130.00 with Sky TV out of Mexico.

I'm in the Central Valley but I spend alot of time in Guanacaste at Hacienda Tenorio. It's a friend's ranch SW of Volcan Tenorio. I imagine you fly into Liberia. We'll tip an Imperial one day.

I get frustrated with Sparano cheering not becuase of his emotion, but because we had just scored a field goal. Maybe he thinks it is soccer where a good score is 3-0.

I woule like to see Cowher come here. I think Sparano is ok, but ok will just get us a 8-8 record. Players joking on the sides and inconsistent play out of many players leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Cowher has been a proven coach, but I don't think he will come.

The problem is the offensive system...its entirely too conservative and predicable.

Then we have the coaches asking Henne to play 99% perfect games due to the conservative nature of the system...I agree, that should be the goal however in the real world mistakes happen.

We can't compete unless we play semi-perfect games. We also can't compete unless we get aggressive on offense.

We simply don't have the speed on offense to stretch the field and don't have the players that can get open quickly.

Fasano needs to be upgraded.

Carey needs to be upgraded

Berger needs to be upgraded.

Hartline as much as I like him simply does not have enough speed or quickness as a #2 guy. I think he'd be a great #3 receiver though once we have that upgrade on the roster.

Marshall needs some maturity and character.

Brown needs to be upgraded with someone who has size, power, homerun speed and shiftiness too...not sure where they are going to find that combination though.

The bottom line is the system is greatly hurting this team...because it magnifies mistakes and keeps games close.

That said, Henne had a terrible second half with the exception of one drive and a decent first half except for the pick...he simply must start playing better and gain some consistency. Henning MUST start helping Henne (and by extension the team) out because with few exceptions this season he has not.

Then there are the maddening things that the coaches seem unable to fix like way too many dropped balls, consistently poor special teams, sloppy tackling, lack of discipline, poor execution and poor technique.

And lastly Cowher won't fix the offense and if Marino see's a flaw in Henne why dosen't he offer to personally help him out as a consultant.

This team does need to draft another quarterback...but not with the intent of replacing Henne but to compete and take to job away if he can.

The problem here is that we can't use our first round pick on a quarterback (unless a gem drops to us a'la Marino) because we have too many other needs. We have no second round pick and to take a quarterback in the third isn't the smart option...historically speaking.

I also am not sold on Cowher as a great evaluator of QB talent. He thought Kordell Stewart was greatest thing since sliced bread. But I wouldn't be angry if he were our coach someday (not saying sparano needs to go {yet} but when the job is open next, I wouldn't mind Cowher taking over).

As for Marino, he already was on the FO staff once. For a period of about one week. I think he's wise to stick with the gig he has now.

Agree with this 100%. Keep Henne in camp next year, but draft a promising QB. Then see who shows the most potential in T.C.

Again, WOW. Practically EVERYONE on the offense needs replaced/upgraded, EXCEPT HENNE? It's the coaches fault, the game plans fault, the receivers fault, the running games fault. But don't talk about our Chaddy Boy. Even DAN MARINO should shut up and JUST HELP HENNE!

I haven't seen adoration like this since Chris Matthews interviewed Obama. WHAT is the fascination with Henne?
