Don't forget we were (the Henne supporters) also the ones saying after his first season that Fiedler was not good enough and in fact stunk and that Pennington was not good enough either.
So, its not as if we are blind...we do know what good, and bad, quarterback play looks like.
Henne is struggling today...no doubt. But to suggest that he sucks or that he needs to be replaced is premature at best.
Again, too many of our fans are much too short sighted.
The first pass interception can be credited to Henne trying to change his nature from a cannon armed quarterback to one that has touch. That interception is the fault of Henne's critics.
The second interception is his, however. But it was not a fault of a lack of skill but a dumb throw to a receiver that was triple-covered. It was a mistake of the head and not the arm.
Henne is out of sync today. The O-line is doing a good job and so is our defense. The 60 yarder--WOW. So, all we need to do is get Henne back into the game--get accuracy with his passing and we can win this game. I hope it's in the cards.
IMO, look for Hartline underneath and Fasano. Need some play action too and that will improve his confidence.
You know what's really disgusting, the ongoing hype and downright BS support towards Henne even though he's junk -- some even compare him to Marino for gods sakes...
The kid simply is NOT NFL material and that FACT has ZERO do to with Thigpen, or Henning, or the current market price of rice...

If you thought he was the was the reason for the lost then you have no idea about football. We were just like the Packers were this year with half the team injured during that game.
