Yes, yes I know, I know. It is way too early to know exactly who we will pick. But the simple fact most draft people have us picking Cam Newton is a little confusing to me.
We have way to many holes to draft him. What makes him so great a QB prospect, anyways? I am all for drafting a franchise QB, Marino was drafted at #27. But what makes anybody think he will be one? He will not be able to run against an NFL defense like he does in college.
Again, don bash me for this post. I just found it pretty weird that most people think he is the answer for us.
The reason why I never rate RB at #1 is because I believe if you have a *DOMINANT* offensive line, then you could put Stevie Wonder in the backfield and produce yardage.

You can also have 5 incognitos starting for the OL and have barry sanders as your feature back and.....well you know...
In my opinion there is no way we are taking a QB in the first round this year. No way. We better not take one at all (IMHO).
We will not move up or down in round one in my opinion. We take the best availble player probably (unless it is a Q. Bill P. will not be there to advise. They had better focus in on the lines and LBs.
I think the Ricky and Ronnie show has one more year in it with oen of them staying a few more years after that.
I would also like to see us pick up some more experienced WR help, as I think our WR group is still quite not there yet.
I don't think we will go QB, but who knows with our management. Newton has been impressive. His passing touch looks real decent. You don't see QB's with 20 rushing and passing TD's too often
Maybe you can go up to Boston and suck Robert Kraft's %$#@ and get him to trade us your favorite QB Tom Gaydy, for a box of Ritz crackers and a can of sardines.

Why don't you just propose to brady and get it over with.
Cam Newton is another McNab but with less arm ability, and mental ability to make consistant accurate pass's to the right recievers when it counts, I.E HENNE WITH LEGS!!
