And Thigpen is not the reason for our completely incompetent play at every position tonight.

I think we should give Thiggy 21 starts to let him "develop."

You are totally lost with this post. If Henne was in there he would have been killed. He is playing behind a line that was literally just thrown together and all throws were going to the right person. Put him behind a good line and we win.

Just because Thigpen sucked last night dosen't mean Henne didn't.

Let's face facts. At this point there is no viable NFL QB in Miami. Not on the field, not on the bench, not on IR and not on PUP.

This is the result of 10+ years of management that has marginalized the QB position and believed that all they needed was a journeyman or lower rounds 'Project' to go with the dominating defense and unstoppable running game they were going to build. What is needed is a philosophy change.

Shula took the players he had and designed the team around them. They were ALWAYS competitive.

Jimmy Johnson, Wanny, Parcells, etc, etc, etc have tried to force the team to be what they wanted it to be. The results are obvious.

How can we be so hard on Thigpen, he had maybe 3 practices with the first team offense! Not close to enough time to develop chemistry with the center, or your recievers or even your running backs. Not to mention the fact our line is holier than a catholic church. The bears knew what they were doing in focusing on the run, they knew Thigpen didn't have time to get rhythm with the team. Give him this next week to practice and he will improve and hopefully we get some of our oline issues resolved

Honestly, lets face it, all our QB's suck. Watch other NFL games out there and teams that are good easily get 3rd down conversions, with us, its like your hoping that they dont get picked off so you can kick the ball away and not give up field position

Correct, and thats why I am hoping we handle this issue in the offseason but mathematically we are still alive THIS SEASON and we now have some time to recover & prepare for a good Oakland team and Id rather have Thigpen at the helm with the risk and chance of him having a game like he did vs Tennessee

The other running backs are no-named gumbies. Lousaka is only good for short yardage.
