So my call to pack it in after losing our top 2 QBs? I was told it was stupid. Now we're on a 3rd string Center, Marshall is hurt, what else has to happen? Long needs his surgery NOW. We need to re-sign Jake Grove so Thigpen doesn't get killed. Face it. Our season is over.
After reading the posts tonight, I am convinced that Jesus Christ himself could have been in there and you guys would still have ripped him. Thigpen is in a fight for his life. Still gave 100% and you guys ripped him. You must be related to Henne.

Since you're the expert, I would've love to see you out there tonight. Maybe you would get your ass kicked. But probably not, you would win it single handily.
Thigpen didn't have any snaps before last week, then a short week, a banged up line, we lose our #1 receiver. He had no chance. I mean the center couldn't get the ball back to him, when he was in the shotgun. And how many passes did Marshall drop that killed drives.
I'm not saying Thigpen is going to be our starter, but he had no chance.
Thiggy is a loser, 1-12. How much more evidence do you want. You want me to take snaps? Ok, if I'm paid as much as him, I do it and the result would be the same.

Weland: I also heard some around say they wished they had Thigpen instead of Cassel. He wasn't bad in the second half, the Kansas City defense kept putting him in bad situations that year at the end of games. If you remember the game the Phins played up here in '08. It wasn't his fault the Chiefs lost that game, the defense game up two scores at the end of the game.
All I'm saying is, he might not be a world beater, but it wasn't all his fault tonight, and I wouldn't call him horrible with this one game. If Henne wouldn't have gotten hurt last week, I'm sure he would've this week.
I think he could be a starter on a well balanced team, He will never be mistaken for a Brady or a Manning. But in the right system yes. But i was just saying tonight you can't call him horrible behind what he played behind tonight.
Henne will start next week let's take it from there I guess since we have no choice......just too banged up this season imagine if we had Odrick and co healthy this season...
If we are healthy next season we could be a force!!
Henne needs to earn his job for next season with the remaining games we have left, if not it's blank time.
Blank time could mean Vick, draft pick, trade etc....
I guess I was impatient with Henne b/c he sat for a couple of years and then started last year... So I was expecting the Aaron Rodgers effect... y'know.. I know. I was probably being too greedy. Now, it doesn't seem like any of that matters now that everyone on our team is hurt!
And Marshall got hurt on his own accord after doing that wide jumping spin... I'm just like c'mon guys... warm-up, stretch.. work on flexibility.
I honestly don't know what to think. I don't think we have a choice but to wait for enough time for our O-line to heal and to draft and trade for better O-linemen as well.
