The Jets have too many weapons. The league should have got involved with that bullsh*t trade for Edwards (can anyone here even name the player the Jets had to give up for him?). Then somehow Ladanian Tomlinson and Antonio Cromartie just happen to fall in their laps. I smell BS. The league desperately wants them to win the big show.

Given all this, they are clearly the best team in the AFC, maybe even the NFL. I think they walk into the superbowl and play their home city rival Giants. Hockey is much more interesting at this point.

Sure. Chansi Stuckey. Who just happened to fumble the ball at the Jets' 30 yard line in OT.

Chansi Stuckey. Exactly. A complete POS. That trade should have been nixed by Goddell. The talent level isnt even close between those two players. It was clearly a case of Mangini helping out his former team.

Same goes for the draft pick that Mangina *gave* away to his old team which they used to draft the excellent Mark Sanchez. The Jets gave up NOTHING for that pick except for some practice squad scrubs. Again, the league does nothing but look the other way.

The NFL has lost all its integrity.

Anybody else sick of teams handing the Jets wins?

Last week Detroit up by 10 with 4 min left should have closed out that game, also a crucial 15 yard personal foul at the end gave them life.

Now Cleveland gets in FG range and all the guy has to do is run out of bounds and its 1st and 10 at the Jets 30 but fumbles the ball trying for an extra yard or 2 ughhhhhhhhhhh so sickening to watch!!

They got lucky with their win in I think Denver too I believe.

They've gotten extremely lucky against two of the worst teams in the NFL. Needing overtime to beat Detroit (just got beat by Buff) and Cleveland (3-6).

That is right. It is not about talent. It's lucky. Luck No. 1 Stuckey struggles for extra yardage near the sidelines on the Jets 37 in overtime. If he just gives up or steps out of bounds, the Browns go on with the wind at their backs and 3 more downs to position the ball for the winning field goal. He gets stripped.

Luck no. 2, the first time that Sanchez does a Houdini and comes out of a sack.

Luck no. 3, the second time he does it.

Luck no. 4, he fakes out a sure tackle and throws a drive continuing pass.

Luck no. 5, on what should have been a gain of no more than 10, three Browns miss tackles resulting in an overtime touchdown.

And I also plan to watch the Patriots game and root against THEM but.................only if its okay with you, Ghotirule?

The Jets have the most talented roster in the NFL. It is not about "luck" really. They are stacked. The league turned a blind eye to a lot of shady deals.

If Cleveland is so bad how did they DECIMATE the Patriots last week? They are a middling team with a weak coach. A coach who still has a soft spot for his old franchise.

And I forgot that play when the Jets went for it on fourth down and threw the bomb and in the excitement, the Brown defender intercepted the ball at the one yard line instead of knocking it down. Had he knocked it down then the Browns were only thirty or so yards away from a field goal.

That was third down, the Jets would have punted.

It is not so much a conspiracy as all these things have occurred out in the open. Its just no one is paying any attention. Everyone in the media is focused on Brett Favre.

It all makes sense now! Of course its favre he is obviously still on the jets payroll right? Because it has to be a conspiracy because theres no way that the Jets would get lucky by barely beating two really inexperienced young teams both in overtime i believe.

The jets have tons of talent, but guess what they got all those people through good trades and no one else made an offer for those people, isnt it possible that Rex Ryan has a good eye for talent and is a good coach to keep these people working as one?

Personally i dont want the league stepping in and blocking trades, if a team is dumb enough to accept the trade there dumb enough to lose then. Maybe we should start trying to trade for some busted talent and actually become good.

Can't agree with you gfish. I see the Pats with tons of talent but not the Jets.

Its not that the players are truely that great, but they are playing there hearts out, who would have thought that LT had this kind of season coming? or Cromartie? It really comes down to superior coaching at the end of the day.
