Why does this coaching staff keep abandoning the run?

They were completely gashing the ravens with ronnie brown for 10 and 12 and 14 yds a play, yet they do what they always do, put it on hene's back and let a 2nd yr player try to win the game.
Dan Henning is being paid by a undetermined source to bosch plays on purpose to protect Vegas betting odds so Vegas doesnt lose its ass.
Seriously vegas called 7-9 last year and I think this year too, and looking at how we play certain teams, and our record we should end around that. Unbelievable huh, scarey truth to it though.
I don't know the answer to the original question, but whenever we run the ball tons of posts follow that we're being too conservative.
Maybe coaching staff was trying to not be so conservative, as they had been labeled all season long....well we know how that turned out. Maybe playing conservative isn't so bad after all.
And Ronnie was looking good yesterday too. Hitting the holes faster and harder than he has all year. Even made a couple guys miss. I really would've like to see more rushes from him in the second half.
I believe there was more play action than actual running plays.
It's easy to be a Monday morning QB, but you have to be able to sell the run before the play action will work and by NOT running the ball, it just seemed to me that they should have just had Henne dropping back to give him more time to scan the field...OR JUST RUN IT MORE!
Maybe the team doesn't want Ronnie to have a good year so they can re-sign him cheap next year? Based on the weird roster moves we had early in the year to save money, I wouldn't put it past them.
That the phin coaches are afraid ronnie is going to be injured again.
I hope thats not the case. WTF is the point of having ronnie on the team if you gonna give him just 10 carries. Because thats what they gave him i think....10 carries.
PS. The one saying it was not a caller it was a radio announcer...But he probably knows as much as a unknown caller does....They talk a lot of trash on the radio.

Uhhh...If you have a football player that you're afraid will get hurt...you don't keep him!! Why do you think we dumped Jake Grove?!!

They were not stopping the run at all. We should have done what the Browns did to them last year and shoved it down their throats. Plus that keeps Henne from having to do it all.
