I've seen it. Don't remember the game or the team, but their kicker got hurt. The punter could kick off, but they had no one on the team that could kick field goals or extra points. So, their strategy became: "go for the TD and 2 points every scoring play". I'm NOT rooting for Carpenter to get hurt, but I wouldn't mind us trying out this philosophy for, at least, part of a game.

Bottom line if Sparano wants to keep his job he better at least make the playoffs this year. No playoffs and the pink slips will fly.

If the odds were better going for two than kicking the pat, it would make sense but that just doesn't happen barring some freak injury.

IIRC, we almost lost a game last year because Sparano went for two midway through the 3rd quarter and a lot of people here were calling for his head for going for it too soon then.

Then stop trying to sell it. Be done with it we lost by one point and we never had the chance to tie up the game again.
