Amazing what a short memory people have. Most of us were cursing RW for his fumbles in Minnesota. A bunch of people were still on him for his fumble against NY. Now people are praising him like he's the 2nd coming of Barry Sanders.
He shouldn't be excused for his fumbles in Minnesta and he's not the second coming of Barry Sanders...because a lot of us will be dead before THAT happens, JMO. Ricky does need to find some consistency however and do it this season...the upside for him, he did look quick.
If he keeps it up he might just out last Ronnie Brown on this team...thats saying quite a lot. Brown seems to have lost a step or two.
Nice Rose colored glasses. If the Dolphins could not win two must win games at home, I doubt we'll win two out of the next five on the road. Playoffs are out of the picture at this point.

I would say, if we lose to GB and Pitt we are out of the playoff hunt. Honestly , if your in that position this early, I say shoot for draft pics once again

That is the best you got..... Not even worth it, you brought up zero valid points disputing what I said... Just hating to hate... If you like the Dolphins you root for them to be successful, if you dont like the Dolphins, you hate on them and predict failure and total collapse....
Dont show up, out of no where one day, and tell a bunch of dedicated die hard Dolfans, our teams sucks, and we should hate on them... You will be laughed off the site and ignored. Go Dolphins! Welead go pound sand, honestly. If you want real discussion and interaction, try a different more logical approach then that of what you are doing....
I choose to focus on the many positives aspects within our team, all you choose to do is focus and hate on that which did not go right... and guess what no one cares for that approach, it is extremely unproductive.

A fumble, is a fumble, and is unacceptable, I agree Montequi, but that does not mean Ricky has not been looking good running the ball since preseason till now, and even last year when he rushed for over 1000yds. Ricky is a huge assett to our team and we are lucky to have him.
I may be in the minority, but I agree - it's not that bad. The reason I'm pi$$ed, though, is because we could be 4-0. We have beaten ourselves in the 2 losses. Frankly, it's for this reason in my mind that it's not that bad. It's not like we're out-talented...

That goes for all you other haters out there reading this board too!
I'm all for discussion and posters sharing their honest opinions. But guys like Welead basically contribute absolutely nothing to the discussion. Okay, you don't think we're going to make the playoffs. Brilliant analysis. We don't need it posted as a one-liner in every single thread.

DolphinMike: Gee that's some comeback, responding to "pound sand." Tell me why Henne at this point doesn't even have a pump fake? Or why he is so robotic, yet he has played QB1 since freshman year at Michegan? I'm not impressed with his lack of leadership skills, what QB is laughing while his team is taking the worst beating in recent memory. Or how about his lack of check downs? How about his staring down receivers? Against the 29th defense in the league in a MUST WIN game is truly pathetic and very unacceptable.
Welead, you are out of touch. Henne bearly had time to get the ball off. Many times he stepped up and delivered with a quick release to pick up the 1st down. His out throws were on the money all but a couple of times.
I was concerned with what I considered slow feet. But this game he was quick as he needed to be. That is because of his confidence.
Check downs? That is why he threw to Bess, Ronnie and Ricky, and Fasano.
I don't think you are watching the same game. I think you simply hate Henne and now is a time you can rip him.
I don't understand the check down comments. Henne checks down a lot. Probably more than he should. Henning has said his mantra that they have drilled into Henne is "Touchdown, Check down." If the big play is not there, take the check down. And Henne does that a lot, in part because they have also coached him to not take any chances. Bess, Brown, Williams, Polite, and Fasano have a combined 47 catches. That's because Henne checks down a lot.
Henne is 10th in the league in passing yards. He's 10th in the league in completion percentage. He's 11th in the league in yards per attempt. He's 10th in the league in first down conversion percentage. He's 14th in the league in TD passes. He's 14th in the league in QB rating. And this is from a guy who has started 17 games, so he is still in the learning phase. And 13 of those starts came in 2009, when he had no legitimate #1 WR. And even with Marshall, he still lacks weapons around him. Hartline is average, at best. Bess is a great slot guy, but has no deep speed. There is no #2 TE, and Fasano is not one of the league's better TE. And the pass protection has not been good. And the running game has been inconsistent, and the wildcat short circuits the rhythm of the offense. I am as big a Dan Marino fan as you will find. We are never going to have a QB like him again. Henne is not Dan Marino, and never will be. But, as a young QB in this league, he is doing just fine. We have many other issues to address besides Henne.
