I saw our offense moving the ball well and scoring points, despite a couple of turnovers.
I saw our defense limit Tom Brady, Randy Moss and Wes Welker to 6 points in the first half.
I saw our special teams give up a kick return for a touchdown, get a punt blocked at our own ten yard line, and then have a field goal blocked and returned for a TD.
For every post about Nolan, Henne, Henning, and whoever else is getting blamed for stuff, the fact is that Miami spotted the New England Patriots 14+ points. You can't spot a good team 14+ points and expect to win.
In the past two weeks, the Dolphins Special Teams unit has essentially given up 28 points. 28 points that you can't blame Henne, Henning, or Nolan for. What I saw tonight was a pretty solid football team with a lot of talent (even with injuries on the DL) that was done in by awful special teams play.
I don't know how you can pin this on Henne. He had a rough game, no question, but ST killed us. Murdered us. Absolutely destroyed us. It was a shit-show by all, to be honest. Let the blame be passed around to everybody, because that's where it deserves to go.

I'm not going to say I feel better....but....there is an upside to a loss like this vs. losing a squeaker in overtime. All the problems are as plain as day. It's obvious to everyone that the special teams coach needs to go. Henne also needs some more intense coaching but he did not cost us this game.
I know I'm probably in the minority right now, but I like what I see from Henne. He had a couple of bad throws and shook them off and was moving the offense well. I do think the play-calling is a bit awful at times. See: Wildcat on 3rd down and running the ball while down three scores with 12 minutes to play.
everyone is to blame....Henne is to blame in the first half with those terrible picks and ST killed us the 2nd half.....D schemes were terrible on numerous plays....all amounts to another day of laughs I will have to put up with tomorrow.
If the offensew would have played better, then we wouldn't have needed to punt or trty a 54 yd FG.
The play calling, Henne, or both killed way too many drives.
If the D could have made a stop, and not let a 5'7" scrub RB run all over them in the 2nd half, or have someone other than Wake apply some pressure on Brady, then I would say the D played well. But they didn't.
Credit Nolan.
Henne is a stiff. He can't (or won't) move. He has little pocket presence. He routinely underthrows and/or overthrows open receivers. Are we supposed to ignore this? His decision-making is putrid. His fire is non-existant. He ain't never gonna be the man on anyone's team.
