Wow I had to help my dad pull out 2 people from a burning car that tried to run a train track today. about 2 hours ago.
Im a little shaken up, and it occured to me about karma.
It was a man and wife, wife had to be taken in ambulance, prob a colapsed lung, the husband both in 50's I would say was ok, but shaken.
Am-Trak hit about 50 mph the front right side, and flipped the car into the ditch, and caught fire imediatly, had to pull passengers out of back broken glass.
Just glad no one is fataly injured. AND I get to watch my game tonight, however I ask if everyone can say a prayer for the lady, I'm sure she will be ok, but never know.
Hey, speaking of that Opus, A FANTASTIC example of what Mia1 did just happened out here in California. A guy snatched a little girl off the street in Fresno, California and was seen by someone who did not get the license plate. They put out an Amber alert that just had a description of the guy and a general description of the truck.
Some guy riding along saw what he thought was a match and kept honking for the guy to pull over. The guy did not. At great risk to himself, the citizen pulls his car in front of the truck and dead-stops. The truck comes to a screeching halt and the creep opens the passenger door and the little girl runs out.
Unfortunately she had been molested but this guy, just like our hero Mia1, risked his own life in a situation where he didn't know for sure he had the right person. 75% of children are killed within the first 3 hours of abduction and 90% are killed with the first 24 hours.
Frankly, I have two sons in their 30's but any of you who have daughters or small boys, I would not let them walk ANYWHERE unaccompanied.
But back to this guy, the hero, I know that there are a lot more jerks in this country than in 1948 when I was born but maybe, we are still putting out as many heroes.
