I agree. It's not like were blown out. We're still 2-1 with one divisional win. We beat the Pats next week and we could be tied with the Jets for 1st place in the division.

Agreed. It wasn't even a blowout. We started slow then came back and even took the lead. We fought hard but came short. It will be alright.

Another notable "positive" (if there is such a thing after a home-loss to the jests) is that we did change our game strategy.

If we would have gone about things conservatively last night as we'd done vs. Minnesota and Buffalo, then we'd have some serious problems with our team at the root level. But we did let Henne pass (for over 350 yards!) and his only turnover was at the very end on that desperation pass on 4th down.

Just one or two plays going the other way (special teams, penalty, slipping on the turf) would have made the difference. We must correct things by next week, because I live in Boston and we MUST beat the Pats!

Your right JC. Saw a lot of good things on both sides of the ball. Henne really stepped it up and the play calling was also good.
I really do think they can put the Wildcat to rest, but other than that I am upbeat as one can get after a loss the THE STINKING JETS!hot smiley

Jets are a pretty good team, but we should have won that game. Take a couple mistakes away and we win walking away.

It's good to know we can move the ball when we have to. We'll need it next week against NE. If Henne can rack up 360 yards against the Jets, I can't wait to see what he can do to NE's struggling Defense.

The D-line has to bring lots of pressure to keep Brady/Moss/Welker in check. If they do, I see a BIG victory next Sunday!!!

Exactly. We are still on top of the Division. We beat the Pats, we're OK.

I absolutely see progression from last year. The tema will be successful.

Still a ton of football to be played.

The thing is we know that we can pretty much do it all (special teams aside.)

We can pass the ball, which we saw last night.

We can run the ball, which we saw in the previous weeks.

Our defense can get pressure and our DBs can swam the ball and create turnovers.

If we can fire on all cylinders, we're going to be a scary team.

Jets @ Buffalo next week and NE @ Miami. Lets root for a Buffalo and a Miami win that would make the Jeets 2-2 and 2-1 in the division. NE 2-2 and 1-2 in the division and the Miami Dolphins....3-1 and 2-1 int he division....and back in first place!

Buffalo had a 16-13 win last year and a 13-19 loss to the Jerts...so they are always tight games. Fitzpatrick is QB now and has a win vs NE so they do have a chance and the game is in Buffalo.
