This is my first post but I have been reading this board for awhile and pretty disgusted with the anti-Henne talk. Are you watching this game? He's only 16-for-23 for 172 and 2 td's. What else do you want? Got news for you...Dan Marino isn't walking through that door. And I am an Ohio State alum. Go Henne and shut it haters.

Get Rosenhaus on the phone then, what are you waiting for?

RESPONSE: Then I'd DAMN SURE LIKE TO SIGN YOUR 3 year old nephew (and I'll bet the competition to sign him would be stiff).
Stats are very misleading, he's the actually 25 in the league in third down passing conversions, fininshed the 09 at 25th in the league. All im msaying is he "Must" make the simple throws during critical situations that require something other than a fast ball, secondly he stares down his receivers, the receivers had to make acrobatic moves to get to his ball, misse Hartline and Marshall on over throws and has diffuclty reading the defense, shaky at best under pressure, take a look at his feet in the pocket, very unstale, feels pressure at any illusion of pressure
He has started the equivalent of one full season. Let's give the kid a chance to develop before we toss him to the wolves. He has the essentials to be a fantastic qb. He's a leader, cannon of an arm and he is smart. He works hard and his teammates believe in him. That a good foundation. I love the "stares down receivers" comments seeing as though he has one INT in 3 games and it came on 4th down. I saw him go through his progressions quite a few times last night. And if you think he is going to complete EVERY pass he throws...I got news for you, ain't gonna happen. I watch Manning, Brady, Rodgers and every other QB overthrow a deep all or make a bad read every now and then. Do you want to sit them on the bench too? You guys are unbearable.
Thi sickofit guy is a (my new favorite poster on this board)! Give it some time junior. The guy will be just fine. Your negative sh*t toward Henne is obviously not welcomed so why do you continuously post how terrible he is?

I think Chad needs to get his head straight. I agree that he frequently does the duck and cover, and doesn't seem to have pocket awareness. That said, I think he has a lot of potential and just needs to work on keeping his head straight and developing his feel for pressure and he will find out his true potential.
I'm sick of the Henne bashing as well, the only thing I see as a possible down-fall of his is his lack of mobility, i'll live with it, but that's never going away. He looks awkward and almost painful when he tries to scramble (Kinda like Dan did when he first came back from the achilles inj.) Like I said, I really like this kid and i'll live with that, I think he'll learn to slide in the pocket in time.
Well if we had tied the game I'm sure we could have held for 27 seconds, and who knows, maybe we would of gotten the ball first in OT. It isn't like the Jets were stopping us either!
Henne had alot of time in the pocket for most of the game. Thus he should have shredded the jets. The pocket awareness statement is dead on and also he doesnt deal with pressure very well. I know he is young so hopefully he will improve in these areas. I was impressed with the pass protection and the play of Pat McQuistan who stepped in and did a decent job.

McQuistan was decent in pass protection, but he couldn't create any running lanes. This allowed NY to drop back into coverage and not be threatened by our run. It almost nullified play action.

What's your definition of "shredding"? I thought 360+ yards was pretty good.

McQuistan got blown up in the pass rush several times, allowing a rusher right up the middle.
No one is bashing Henne SamSam, and to call fans on here "a moronic fan of another team" is breaking the sites rules again no name calling.
You don't have to agree with what somone post, and it is dead on about him not having solid pocket awareness and if you don't think thats right then type it in a manner which will not piss people off to where they have to report you AGAIN for name calling.

I still don't understand. How can you bash him when he is playing really well. If i can change just a couple plays on defense, ( i mean go back in time and change 2 plays which went against us ) we win the game.
I take 350 yards passing 2 Tds 1 int in every game all day my friend
