If there is anyone out there who doesn't recognize the fact that Channing Crowder has not played the first two games AND that we are currently 2-0, they are not true Dolfans. I've NEVER liked Crowder as a LB and I think he's more harmful in the game than out. Like Bryan Cox, all mouth and no play... Dansby and the others are doing great. Channing - stay away.

I don't agree with this at all. B Cox was great! Crowder is pretty good himself, but Dansby is the guy for sure at MLB
I think the biggest reason we're winning is we have a solid coaching staff/front office for the first time since JJ. I still wake up in the middle of the night screaming because I have Cameron/Muller nightmares

Crowder is a player who doesn't have flashy stats, yet makes the defense better. Since there is a playmaking ILB with Dansby, Crowder will be even mre effective, IMO.
Glad to have another run stuffer up the middle in there.
It is funny certain Dolphin fans dislike Crowder so much, even when all the coaches and teammates praise the guy and are thrilled to have him back in the line up..From Sparano to Dansby singing his praise and gushing over his return this week. What does that tell you? It tells me that certain fans don't have much of an idea of what they are talking about.
TO suggest the Dolphins are 2-0 because Crowder is out of the line up and he should stay out is sad and in my opinion not the True Dolfan they so claim to be and others not to be. Look in the mirror, with this type of Garbage, when questioning loyalty to being a Dolfan
> Spoken like a guy who's screen name is Crowder52.
lol... I normally dont care what people say about Crowder because, he does have things to gripe about. But to say you are not a true Dolfan if you are rooting for him to play and he is a detriment to the line up.. That is just plain and simple B.S.
I mean look at the difference in Jason Allens game under this new Cordinator.
Crowder doesnt have the huge sack numbers, int, or FF. He has injury problems. However if he can stay healthy he is going to shine with Mike Nolan. And I am hardly not a true Dolfan for rooting for his return and success! Go Dolphins!
I hated Cox too but Crowder is helleva more productive than Cox and does not make the boneheaded mistakes that Cox did. I think playing besides Dansby in Nolans system will make him even better.
saying people are not 'true fin fans' sounds like someone who is talking while their head is stuck somewhere.
I didn't like Bryan Cox either. There were only two things I did like about him
1) He was loyal to coach Shula and out of all the nasty things he did and said, he never talked was disrespectful to him. He even showed up to the press conference where Shula resigned in support of him.
2) his flipping off the Buffalo fans. Now, I'm all about class on and off the field, and I normally would think this would be a condemnable action. But these are Buffalo fans we're talking about. The same fans who throw crap on the field, who tried to tip over the team bus while stadium security stood around and watched. That's why they deserved the double-birdie by Cox.
I think what this thread is trying to say is that if the defense is not broken, don't fix it! I personally don't think he plays to his potential, but there has been times and I am a true believer in that the player is just a part of the system. A qb be awesome on one team and system but suck when a new coordinator comes in. So he might become great in this system, but it is working great now so lets not mess with it until we have to.

But Misi's an OLB, not an ILB. If you're including OLBs, are you saying to you value Crowder over Wake? I don't.

Yes i forgot wake....
Dansby, wake misi, then comes crowder.
and its two different scenarios wake is more of a pass rusher on the outside crowder more of a run stuffer inside and they both play different positions.
i meant if i had to get rid of one because of salary or whatever who do i preffered.
I hope he is back.....he will likely have more tackles than Dobbing and Carpenter combined his first game back. Dobbing seems to be a step late and carpenter seems to avoid the guard instead of attacking the LOS.
Right. Crowder is the 4th best LB on this team.

I would more say Crowder is the number 1 guy in his spot......lol...
SO far he hasnt played, so he is really nothing at this point, only untapped potential. I agree with the rest of what you said, this Regime doesn't like injured players at all, but he has 2 things going for him, he signed for a reasonable amount, and he seems to be well liked by the coach and others
