Just read on twitter that Crowders splitting 1st team reps with Dobbins, but John Jerry is not out there

Crowder back at practice, and teamed up with Dansby as the starting ILBs. Carpenter and Dobbins 2nd team ILBs.
G John Jerry not at practice. His grandmother is seriously ill, and speculatiopn is this might be why he wasn't at practice. Pat McQuistan lined up in Jerry's position.
No new players at practice to fill the empty roster spot.Speculation is a new person is enroute to the team, or a practice squad player may be calle dup to the roster.

Honestly... Im done with Crowder. Lets move on.

Isn't Crowder known as a run stopper? Facing the Jet's i'll take any help we can get.

I'll take Crowder at WILB over anyone else on our team. He should start. If he stinks it up, then we have 2 other viable options to play in his place.

But it was Carpenter that started last week, not Dobbins...
Let's see what Crowder can do in this defense!

As long as they don't rush him back and he re-injures himself which is highly likely.

Somehow Crowder seems to have been pciked by the team over the other starters up till he was yanked for injury.

Wonder what the competition says now that they have played a couple of games together.

I say stick him in, but don't start him. The b/ups have earned it ... so to must crowder earn his way back.

In all fairness LT and SG is not AP, and we played at home against a gun slinger, still no excuse, but hey?

Who is this Crowder guy everyone keeps talking about?

Lol is he ready to start his 14 game season now lol.

Maybe we are not to mess with the current group we have on the field since we are doing well but i think crowder only makes this LB group better. Especially against the run.

Anyone have any inside info on Crowder's status?

Read today he probably wont, I still dont get how micah johnson isnt starting over dobbins, I really dont get it

Crowder went to see a sports hernia specialist today. Sam Madison said he had a sports hernia once, and it wasn't diagnosed as such until he went to the same specialist that Crowder went to today. If Crowder does have one, then he is quite likely headed to the injured reserve list.

Someone on this board suggested he might have a sports hernia way back in training camp. Amazing it took the team so long to check that out.

Regardless, I'd like to see what Johnson could do at WILB. If Crowder has a sports hernia and is put on IR, Micah Johnson should (and hopefully will) be promoted from the practice squad.

So what happens if he does have one then put onto the IR, is his time here with Mia done for good, and how will that affect our draft next year?

Crowder is playing for so cheap, it would be hard to release him. We should still plan to get another starting ILB but it really makes more sense to keep him as the third ILB.

Well I guess we will know in about a week or so Sparano lets take a look at Johnson.

You think that because Johnson is reportedly slow, that Nolan might not like him for this style of defense?

He looked solid in pre-season?
