Boise State QB. I know this is not Phins topic just yet, but did anyone have a chance to see the game against VT Saturday?

I haven't had a chance to see the Buffalo game yet, but from some posts there was some good and some not so good.

Sometimes you just know when a player has what it takes. Kellen Moore impresses me with his coolness. I think he's got it to be the real deal in the NFL. I don't care what his size is the kid can flat out play.

Only a junior.

Any thoughts?

VT game on Labor Day night, yeah I saw him play that game. He was good, but how good is VT. I mean VT just lost at home to a Div IAA team in James Madison.

I think he is a good player though and will get drafted in the early rounds when he goes pro

VT is a fantastic football team, very tuff.

Yes he does look good, and he is showing some promise, and if Henne doesnt pan out after this season, then bring it up, but I like the QB for Nebraska better!!

Well I guess people can have there own opinions, but Id rather uh form my opinion based on what I see, read about, and listen too.

I dont like the Hookies, but I live one hour away, and see alot of games, they are always a decent team.

Some say the suck, just because they lost to a team.

Well I guess they shouldnt play any games, because you cant lose to a 1AA division team can you? I mean no other BCS team would right? lol...

I hate Tech, but give credit where it is due. JMU is no ordinary D2 team. They are pretty good. The rain was a big equalizer too.

Please, a Top 10 college team doesn't lose at home to any DIAA team. Aside from the Michigan lose to applicahan St.....how often (if ever) do you see that happen. It's not like James Madison beat Duke football, this is VT!!!!!!!

Not really seeing how you can put VT in the Top 25 anymore after that loss.

Not even close. It's a down year for VT. Media and fans are calling for Beamers head. A Top 10 program like VT can't, you just can't lose at home to the likes of a Division IAA opponent. That is unthinkable. I mean they took Syracuse OFF the schedule beacuse they WANTED to play James Madison. Didn't really work out too well for them now did it!!

He reminds me of Cade McNown. Great college player. Bust of an NFL player.

No, right now I like what we have. He is only a junior and needs his senior year, but I do think he will be a good one and will play well in the NFL. Also, that guy for Texas looks pretty good. In a couple of years looks like there will be some good QBs coming out.

Now if Henne doesn't pan out, then who knows.

Leon, I was at the Boise game in DC a couple weeks ago and while I agree that Kellen Moore was very poised and played great in the 4th quarter, I think it was more of a result of how poorly our defense played. Young players missing assignments all night. For the most part Kellen Moore was hitting wide open recievers.
