I absolutely hated Fiedler and every other quarterback after Marino except Pennington. Pennington was too good of a guy to hate and did have a good season. I am still hopeful that Henne will be a good player.

I didn't hate Gus Frerotte, but pretty much everyone else bit the big one.
Our season hinges on the play of the QB without good QB play we will be only mediocre. All the good teams have very good QB's. I hope Henne takes his game to another level if not then were in for a long season.
Fiedler had a 36-23 record with the phins. He had big shoes to fill but I will always remember the game winning goal line dive to beat Oakland. I don't know how you can actually hate him. He was not to bad considering the pedestrian receivers he had to work with.

This. Fielder had a very shitty offense to work with most of his tenure in Miami, and receivers with bricks for hands. I always remind myself that you don't have to have a great QB to win everything. It sure as hell doesn't hurt but it's not mandatory. Hell, if you can win a SB with Trent Dilfer, you can win a SB with Fielder.

Agreed! He ran it into the EZ at the buzzer, faking out Trace Armstrong and leaving him flatfooted in the backfield. And it was against OAKLAND, the team I have hated with an absolute passion all my life. That right there saves Fiedler from any 'hatred' in my book.
