Omar Kelly on TWITTER today said don't be shocked if Crowder and Will Allen are both out till Week 3

Crowder is falling apart. I hope Dobbins can step up and be a tackling machine. We can't really depend on CC. He hasn't even made it to the regular season and is already nursing.

Crowder was one of Saban's better picks, but he had two bad knees coming out of college. I remember this being a huge issue back then with some commentators saying he was a reach in the third round.

Still, right now Omar is just tweeting his own speculation. Omar used to be a very solid reporter, but lately his reporting has become a bit more sensationalized. We'll see.

I was actually thinking that Dobbins will be an upgrade over Crowder. No disrespect to Crowder he is a gamer but Dobbins plys mor fluidly than CC. IMO.

Crowder is much better against the run than Dobbins. With Starks at NT, it helps to have a run-stuffing ILB. If Soliai's in, it may not make a difference.

Monte Im curious as to why you think Crowder is a better run stuffer?

We havnt had the oppertunity to see Dobbins do his thing for a full game yet.

Crowder might be, but I would just hold off reserve untill I see him play a game or two.

I sure hope he is not out that long, that would suck... I thought he looked like a stud in that whole quarter he played...lol... Come on Crowder, get it together, it is now or never guy.

I think its his last year in Miami no matter what. The guy is never healthy. Cant be counted on from week to week.

Based on what I saw against Jacksonville, Dobbins isn't as good against the run as Crowder. Crowder has some stops behind the line of scrimmage in the previous game. At WILB Crowder has the potential to be a beast. He didn't fit at SILB.

I wonder how a base defense with Micah Johnson and IAF would look with Dobbins and Misi coming in on passing downs?

No, they can't risk losing Dobbins I am guessing.

Johnson sure looks like a thumper to me and that's what we need next to Dansby...we will know soon enuf!
