OK, couple last notes before the draft...

1) Everyone double check and make sure they can log in to the ESPN league page and is all set for Sunday Night's draft. Had a very minor log-in issue this afternoon with one player, turned out to be nothing, and we got it all straightened out. So to be safe log in before last minute Sunday so if there is an issue we can take care of it ahead of time. Better to be safe than sorry.

2) IF you haven't heard yet, I got us a 1st place prize. Whoever wins the league will get an autographed 8X10 photo of Ricky Williams. I talked to his mother Sandy, who I have known for years, this past week. She was nice enough to donate a little something, so the winner of our league will get that.

3) Everyone double check the scoring to make sure I have it in correctly. I did this morning see a slight error with the FG scoring I had made. I fixed it. I didn't see any other errors, but double check my work I may have missed something and have overloked it.

some minor suggestions on the scoring--

1 pt for every 20 yds passing instead of 25---I think 25 devalues the QBS too much

no negative points for defense--you get varied points for giving up 0-a certain amount of points, but once you pass those points you get 0 instead of negative points. if your defense has a really bad game (-7 points), you are basically screwed for the week--I think this overvalues the defenses too much

anyway, feel free to reject these suggestions but I think they will even out the league more and not make some positions too valuable and some not valuable enough.....

The QB one I agree with actually. I can make that change.

Not sure about the defense, I think if you have a crummy defense and they have a terrible game you should be punished a little.

I kinda agree with the neg points on the Def's, and - points for a 50 yrd attempt is a little off also, IMO.

Sorry, I think it's too many neg points for D's, not a big deal if you dont change it, just not used to it I guess

MikeO--I'm a bit confused about something. How many receivers are we starting and do we need to start a tight end?

I thought we start 3 receivers total as follows:

--WR
--WR
--WR/TE (can be WR or TE)

but from the website it looks like we are stating the above, and a TE. If we are starting a total of 4 receivers, and/or we must start a TE, this changed draft strategy quite a bit.

I believe that 4 spot is a tight end wide receiver flex spot so you can play either or

so 4 receivers total---1 of which has to be a TE?

Sorry I just looked it appears that yes there is 4 slots 2 have to be wide receivers one has to be a tight end and the other can be a tight end or a wide receiver. so you can play 2 wides and 2 tight ends or 3 wides and 1 tight end.

That's pretty standard every league I have been in has 3 wides and TE the only difference is this league has a flex spot. And no you have to start on TE.

I've never heard of having so many receivers but if everyone likes it no big deal

here its 2 WR's and a TE with one WR/TE flex.

In a 14 man league that is alot of WRs, but I say........BRING IT!

I ended pretty good myself I think Mathew stafford was a great pick in rd 14 some of my other pics were suspect but with so many people I kept seeing all the good names vanish right b4 my eyes. Still got shockey in rd 13 and think that was a pretty good pick if he can stay healthy.
