Saban is a jerk but my understanding is that they actually helped him out by not reporting that they were going to trade for culpepper so he could get more $ from NO. So Brees should actually be a little thankful there. Still a bonehead decision in hindsight.

This was the second sin.

The first sin was when our organization (obviously before Saban) passed on the chance to draft him out of Purdue.

wow that is cold. I actually don't hate Saban that much. I hate Wanny more. We knew what we were getting with Saban--I don't think his leaving was that much of a shock. Wanny on the other hand just slowly twisted the knife with his incompetence and it looked like he would never leave. to make matters worse, he actually thought he was doing a good job with this team.
