this was no shock, they were reporting mia loved him for weeks

that's a ton of lbs we took this year

38 tackles as a senior, 1 sack, 1 INT.

He was a MLB, but was stuck behind Laurinaitis. Then, as a senior, he got moved to the strongside. Spitler says Parcells told him that he met all 7 of his LB requirements, whatever they may be.

they must be different than OSU's, seeing as how this guy barely played

Projected Round (2010): FA.
1/8/10: Had 38 tackles and five TFL as a senior.

2/19/09: Will see more action with James Laurinaitis gone. Austin Spitler had 11 tackles in 2008.

8/3/08: Austin Spitler has seen a good amount of action in his first two seasons at Ohio State, but has yet to start. He had 26 tackles in 2007.

He can make the team as a special teams player and hopefully work his way into the linebacker mix

Mike O I was only pointing out that the kid is strong if he couldn't play I don't think he gets drafted. You are cocky, and you make stupid statements that really show you to be uninformed. Obviously if we want to be a big physical tough football team were going to want strong linebackers not unathletic wimps. I am just pointing out that Spitler fits the profile of what the front office is looking for Mike O get with the program.
