Because at some point he becomes value. Even if you only get 2 or 3 years of production out of him before his knee fails and he is done. it's 2 or 3 years. We have used 2nd round picks on Pat White, AJ Feeley, Eddie More...they gave us NO YEARS of production. So why not use a 2nd rounder on a couple years of production. Granted the goal is using the pick on a 10 year vet who will play at a high level for a long time. BUT, if that guy isn't there on your board, rolling the dice on an "injury risk" guy like Kindel is a fallback option Re: Why Sergio Kindle is falling...
