Yes I knew their was 2 sides to this story. JT wants to win a superbowl. He thinks the Jets offer him the best chance. I say we beat his and his new teammates asses twice this year then make the Super Bowl. However before we win it if possbile, we sign Dan Marino let him get his ring to really rub it in JT's face. I know this will backfire on him and his new team mates.
I thought it was reported that there was no offer on the table for 2009. both the team and JT reported it. The team would have no incentive to lie about it, since the news makes them look good. Don't think I believe this one.

If that's true, then you're definitely right.
Another question is, does that $2M include difficult incentives (15 sacks, % of defensive plays from scrimmage, etc). If not, and if that report is true, then our FO did what they could. Although I could swear I read an RSS blurb saying JT's new contract with the Jests is 13million (!)

OK so his guaranteed $ in 2010 with the Jets is comparable to his guaranteed $ offered by the Phins? That's the big question.
*edited to add* just found the espn article, looks like the two guaranteed offers were both over 2 million. If true, JT and his agent are full of doo-doo.

I don't know, a guy who goes on Dances With the Stars, looks like an underwear model, acts like an underwear model, has an inflated opinion of himself, and I'm supposed to be suprised he watched out for his on interests and only his own interests? Na, I'm not a dumb shit.
To hell with him, I hope he rots in NY. I don't even wanna see him return to the state of Florida. He's tainted like a package of chicken someone left in the sun all day. Smells, smells, smells. Hope you get cut in the pre-season JT! CHeers!

Well when you refuse to take the guys phone call for what some 6 weeks or so, that is a lack of class
