Yeah that sucks, we give up a big part of Home Field advantage by playing New England and Jets at night instead of at 1pm. I am all for prime time games but that hurt us. And we still have to play them up north in the winter. Ross was a moron for requesting this and I am sure is going to get an earful from Parcells. Giving up advantages to division opponents is not a good thing to ask for....

you are just full of BS today,
All coaches and teams look for any advantage they can get as big or small, the reason we wear our whites at home and force the visitors to wear their darks is heat, teams have always been at a disadvantage playing in the fall heat at 1pm from up north. Watching the Rookies from up north get killed by the heat at first is an example of how big that advantage can be. Just like Miami plaing in the cold or snow has never been one of our strong points, we just dont practive and live in that type of weather just like they dont live and practice in ours. Broncos have an advantage everytime a team plays at home with Altitude. Green Bay on the Tundra, Miami on the Frozen Tundra advantage Packers. I am sure you get the idea. And by the way, just out curiosity, you dont live in south fla do you?
Haven't seen the FINS outlast anyone early on in quite a few years ... remember when sept oct was a big advantage, but haven't seen it in 8 years or so.

Exactly! GOOD TEAMS win games. Not teams hoping for a sunny day
phinjim is right..the home "sun" advantage has not helped in years...in fact it's become a disadvantage..to think we have an advantage because of the heat with modern day player cooling systems is to live in the past. Players have never been better conditioned before in the NFL, the sun and heat is just not a shock to players anymore...especially when many of them where born and raised in Florida!!
