FS is one position that can win you , and lose you games. A game changer. A critical position to say the least.
If, and it's a big if, he's the next Ed Reed, then it's an absolute NO-BRAINER!!!
Our secondary would be absolutely SICK!!!!

Ireland mentioned he was very proud of the way he found Ratliff(NT) in the 7th round for Dallas, and I think he thinks he can do it again. Maybe not the 7th, but somewhere in the 3rd, 5th or 6th pull a quality NT.

If not Thomas, then we go for a prototype OLB. Pressure specialist.

Berry had a bad senior year. His junior year is what everyone is technically raving about. The fact Berry's senior year was playing for Monte Kiffin does worry me about about him

I too want Thomas, I've come around to that. Only because no one else at 12 is worth the pick--way too many questions: Kindle (sucks), JPP (unknown, at least 50-50 he will be a huge bust), Morgan (can he cover), McClain (don't need him, not all that great anyway).

Thomas looks to be pretty much a sure play maker at FS which we are lacking.

With him, we could forget about the secondary for a long time, and just focus on adding LBs and NTs.

Thomas is my first choice as well. Biggest impact player on defense IMO. Defensive rookie of the year potential.
