I actually met this dude in Aruba about 12 years ago, we had a few beers, shot the sh@# and took some pics together (with my Dolphins gear and his Jets stuff on), he's pretty mellow and was actually a real nice guy, not to mention he had a hot-ass girlgriend about 15 years younger then him. After the stuff JT has talked about him and the Jets, I don't fault him as a true fan of saying what he said.

I recognized him from TV and asked if it was him. I wanna say he told me he's in the Hall of Fame in some fan section, also said him and some of the other well known fans keep in contact (Raiders goon with the spikes and stuff was one that I remember him telling me about specifically) and host each other on away games. Remember him saying that they both assured each other their safety if they came to each others stadium. Honestly he may look like a tool on TV but he was pretty cool in person.
It's not useless, it's colorful. BTW, I met the Geico Man at Bike week last month in Daytona. Did anybody know that he's the son of Art Carney of The Honeymooners?

That's not a surprise that Art's son was a singer, as Art himself was both a singer and musician in his own right.
Lot of interesting info on this thread yeah Fireman ed is someone I love to hate, but doesn't mean I hate him personally.. In fact I'm glad he's around, someone for me to laugh at when the Dolphins woop the Jets this year.
