Who WILL you take?

Greetings from Wisconsin!

Very briefly: I've spent the past couple weeks registering at other teams' sites, going in draft order. I went on and polled the teams' MB to see who they would want. They could not "take" someone already "taken." A few teams I didn't/couldn't register for (wouldn't accept @hotmail), but luckily, the fans seemingly had a slam-dunk pick.

I am currently at your team. a team with 4 positions of need, IMO, and a good slate of options to choose from.

This is the draft thusfar:

1 STL - Bradford, QB
2 DET - Suh, DT
3 TB - McCoy, DT
4 WSH - Okung, OT
5 KC - Berry, S
6 SEA - Bulaga, OT
7 CLE - Haden, CB
8 OAK - Campbell, OT
9 BUF - D. Williams, NT
10 JAX - Clausen, QB
11 DEN - Bryant, WR
12 MIA - ???

Personally, I think u cud use a top NT, but Williams is gone. You have 2 good OTs, so T. Williams is probably out. This may be too early for the next best S prospect in Thomas. You signed Dansby, so I wouldn't think you'd put that much money in one position with McClain. Maybe you want to reach for the next #1 WR prospect in D. Thomas? A 3rd RB in Spiller to add another demension? My guess would be you go OLB to replace Taylor and Porter. Personally, I don't think Morgan is a 3-4 OLB near as much as a 4-3 DE, but I think he presents the most value and should do okay if you have him rush the passer mostly. He's my pick for you if the voting is tied. Hopefully someone runs away with it. Thanks for all your help, and Im a big fan of thoughts about my team, San Francisco!

Spiller dropping till 12 would be a blessing. I'd trade him and pick up at least 2 other picks. A late 1st, a 2nd, and a 4 or 5th.

And then I woke up and we drafted Sergio Kindle.

Yes sir! over 63% of their fans said they'd want him if he lasted to 10. and that doesnt even include those that said they'd even move up to get him.

That was an easy pick, Earl Thomas. But honestly I would of traded down...

"Best player on the board is Spiller. If you are thinking longterm (beyond this season) he's the pick." thumbs up

I don't think projecting Morgan to OLB is any more far fetched than projecting Matt Roth there.

I agree. I am starting to shy away from Morgan at 12 b/c the production is not there.... and being shut down by top talent.

It is a tough spot to pick this year. I don't see a clear cut LB prospect at all and I don't think they will go FS even thought I think ET is a no brainer. I think there is value at WR but I don't have a clue what they are thinking at this point. We need a trade down IMO.

It appears Thomas is getting quite the love if you can't trade down. Well, I will hopefully announcing a winner around 7pm CT tomorrow.

BTW, you guys wud have a sick secondary in a couple years once those 3 develop!

The more I read about the draft, the more I realize we as fans don't have any solid information about what the FO is going to do. They haven't leaked squat smiling bouncing smiley

smiling bouncing smiley I like EARL THOMAS. imho MORGAN BURNETT is as viable an option at FS as EARL. Today is the TEXAS pro-day, so maybe something new will develop as a result.

SEGIO KINDLE is the guy who takes plays off. I watched games specifically to see he and EARL. ALOT of the time I couldn't find KINDLE on the field. EASY to find EARL, he's always around the ball.

The talk for the longest time was about Dan Williams NT/Tenn. That talk has been real quiet for about 3 weeks now. Which makes me believe he might be our man

We'll more likely trade the pick, not the player. What would we get for #12, anyway? Hopefully Dallas's 1st and 2nd.

I agree. If he's there, he's ours. Best NT in the draft.
